Meet the Board: Logan Dzingle, VP of Social Programming

Tell us a little about yourself:

Hi, I’m Logan Dzingle and this is my first year as a Board Member. I have worked in digital and print marketing communications for over seven years for the largest printing company in the world, RR Donnelley. I enjoy solving marketing challenges and increasing conversions for unique corporations around the world.  I am confident that my marketing experience will allow me to positively contribute to the continued success and growth of AMA Los Angeles.

I am originally from Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Marketing in 2009. I moved to Los Angeles over six years ago and have loved every minute of it! Outside of work, I enjoy watching comedy shows and movies, along with being outdoors – hiking, fishing, camping and going to the beach with friends.

What is your position on the board?

This year I am VP of Social Programming – aka a glorified party planner!  I am in charge of the setup and management of monthly networking events hosted at different venues around LA County.  The events leverage social programming to attract new members to AMA Los Angeles and foster a network of Marketing Professionals.

Why did you join AMA Los Angeles?

I originally joined AMA Los Angeles in the summer of 2016 to grow my network, client base and to volunteer within the community.  After attending many community events, I was invited to be an AMA Los Angeles Community Outreach Coordinator and reported to the VP of Community Outreach. As an AMA Los Angeles member, I have enjoyed meeting new friends and connections, as well as making a difference in the community.

If there is one thing that you could recommend to new/potential members of AMA Los Angeles, what would you say to check out?

For potential members, I recommend joining our mailing list and attending one social and one educational event to get a feel for the connections and benefits you will get out of membership.

For new members, I highly recommend volunteering to work with one of our board members in an area of your expertise and/or interest.
