Letter from the President: The Year Ahead…

Summer is quickly ending and September brings a renewed focus on work, school, and in keeping with that rhythm, our chapter is moving into high gear. We’ve made some changes to our educational programming strategy this year, and I wanted to share this with you.

For several years, the chapter held its educational events in Santa Monica. This provided convenient access for those professionals working nearby, but we knew this presented challenges for people working in other areas of town. This year, we are pleased to announce our new relationship with WeWork, our educational sponsor. This relationship provides access to venues throughout greater Los Angeles, and we are incredibly excited about this new approach. We are putting the show on the road!

Briefly, our topics and WeWork venues for September through June are:

 Sept. 20: Video Game Marketing, Promenade
 October 12: Programmatic Ad Buying, Culver City
 Nov. 2: Feature Film Marketing, La Brea
 Dec. 13:, Content Marketing, Gas Tower/DTLA

 Jan. 30: Back to Basics Series, Email Marketing, Playa Vista
 Feb 28: Back to Basics Topic TBD, Vine/Hollywood

The name of our chapter is AMA Los Angeles, not AMA Santa Monica, not AMA Culver City, it is AMA Los Angeles. We look forward to continuing our standard of producing high-level educational events and conveniently providing them to professionals around LA.
